Taekwon-Do

Taekwon-Do literally means Foot (Tae) Hand (Kwon) Art (Do) – the Art of Hand and Foot fighting. Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art and can be described as the scientific use of the body for self-defense.

Life can be challenging. There are many negative influences that can be encountered as both a youth and an adult. Taekwon-Do is a way to live your life, aspiring to maintain or improve your health and live life in a positive manner.

The health benefits and social benefits of being part of a group of people who want to live in a courteous, respectful, positive and supportive way makes the Taekwon-Do student a better and stronger person.

The core values offered by Taekwon-Do will help all to strive to be the Master of their own destiny. As a self-defense art, Taekwon-Do will help prepare every member with essential skills for self-protection and for the protection of family and friends.

Children who acquire self-confidence at an early age are far more likely to succeed in their adult ambitions.
